Steps

  1. 1Press HOME to power on the controller.
  2. 2Nintendo Switch / iOS / Windows: hold X + HOME for about 3 seconds until the indicators cycle vertically.
  3. 3Android: hold B + HOME for about 3 seconds until indicators 3 and 4 flash.
  4. 4On Switch open Controllers → Change Grip/Order; on a phone or PC open Bluetooth and select the controller; the indicator goes solid when connected.

The Nova picks its platform by the button combo you hold while powering on: B + HOME for Android, and X + HOME for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Windows. The row of indicators flashes while searching and goes solid when a host connects. After the first pairing, a press of HOME reconnects to the last device in that mode.

FAQ

Which name does it show over Bluetooth?
Android shows [GameSir-Nova G/W]; iOS, Switch, and Windows show it as [Pro Controller] because it pairs in Switch Pro mode.
iPhone will not connect.
On iOS 16 or later, delete [Pro Controller] from your Bluetooth list, then hold X + HOME for 3 seconds and pair again. Updating firmware in the GameSir app also helps.
