Steps

  3. 3If the controller is frozen or will not power on (e.g. after a failed firmware update), poke the reset pinhole on the back with a thin pin.

There are two levels of reset. HOME + SHARE for 2 sec drops the current pairing and re-opens discovery — use this when a device won't reconnect. The recessed reset pinhole on the back is a hardware recovery for a controller that is frozen or won't turn on; press it, then recharge and re-pair.

Does the pinhole erase my GameSir Connect settings?
The pinhole is a power/hardware reset to recover an unresponsive unit. Custom profiles are stored in GameSir Connect; reapply them there if needed.
It still drifts or buttons misfire after resetting.
Connect it to GameSir Connect on Windows, update to the latest firmware, then recalibrate the sticks and check the dead zones.
