Steps

  2. 2On PC, download GameSir's Nova Lite manual updater pack (not GameSir Connect — it does not support the Nova Lite).
  3. 3Launch the updater, then hold M + X + B while connecting the controller to the PC with USB-C until the LED goes off for ~2 seconds, then release.
  4. 4Click the query/upgrade buttons, load the Nova Lite firmware file, and keep USB-C connected until it finishes.
  5. 5Update the Nova Lite dongle separately with its own flash tool if connection issues persist.

GameSir Connect does NOT list the Nova Lite, so use the app or the dedicated tool. The 2.4G dongle has its own separate firmware updater. Never flash Nova 2 Lite firmware onto the Nova Lite — wrong firmware can brick it.

Does GameSir Connect work for the Nova Lite?
No. GameSir Connect supports models like Nova 2 Lite, Cyclone 2 and G7 Pro, but not the Nova Lite. Use the GameSir mobile app or the dedicated Nova Lite updater tool.
Why would I need to update?
Firmware updates add fixes such as iPhone connectivity and stability. Connect via Android mode first if iPhone won't pair, then update.
