The Brick Hammer is the CNC-aluminum edition of the TrimUI Brick and shares the same TG3040 internals, so it uses the very same firmware. Stock-OS updates come from the official Brick firmware GitHub as a single trimui_tg3040.awimg file copied to a FAT32 microSD card, applied by booting with VOL− + POWER. The green progress bar runs to 100%, then the device restarts into the updated TrimUI OS.

FAQ

Is the Brick Hammer firmware different from the Brick?
No. The Brick Hammer is the same TG3040 hardware in an aluminum shell, so it uses the same firmware_BRICK_tg3040 / trimui_tg3040.awimg releases from github.com/trimui/firmware_brick.
Do I need a PC tool to write the image?
No. The .awimg is applied by the device from the card root — no balenaEtcher needed. Just FAT32-format the card and copy the file.
